About
Lia is a Singapore-based painter working in oil, acrylic and pastel. She holds a BFA in Oil Painting from Xinjiang Arts Institute, where her formal training in classical technique grounds a practice that has since opened into a bolder, shape-forward language of her own.
Her recent paintings gather feeling into bright, deliberate pieces — a face becomes a constellation of independent shapes, a fruit becomes a chorus of pebbles, the canvas hums with saturated color. Earlier work in the Self-Portraits Beyond the Mirror series traces a quieter, psychological register.
Most works are available for collection. Galleries and curators welcome to inquire.
